Short Shorts from Europe

Short Shorts from Europe EUNIC Ireland

At a joint evening of selected European short films, seven members of the EUNIC (European Union National Institutes for Culture) Ireland cluster each present a short film from their country in Galway Film Fleadh, at the IFI in Dublin and the Cork Film Festival. The audience will be asked to vote for their favourite film after the screenings. Dare to have a good time with the best European short films!

Instituto Cervantes Dublin presents La primera vez que te vi. After grocery shopping, while walking down the streets of The Madrid of the Austrians, a couple remembers the day they met on those same streets. Time has passed for them but the streets are perceived just like that day as they stroll through their memories.

Directors Guillermo and Daniel Tirado (Cádiz) studied film directing in Madrid. Highlights of their awarded short films include A esta invita Don José and Ellos. They currently work in the production company LTBL Productions.

La primera vez que te vi will be screened at the Galway Film Fleadh, the IFI in Dublin on 5th November and the Cork Film Festival on 12th November.
