Sherry & The Mystery of Palo Cortado, a film by José Luis López-Linares

What is a Palo Cortado and why has it become such a mystery wine? Is it simply a matter of perception or is something special happening in the grapes or the bodega? This is the starting point for this documentary in Spanish with English subtitles. The movie follows a journey through the last few hundred years of wine production in Jerez and covers various aspects of the golden-hued liquor, from production to cultural standing. With well-known people including sommeliers like Josep Roca (El Celler de Can Roca), the movie captures the culture surrounding the drink.
