Mar adentro (The Sea Inside)
Ramón has spent almost thirty years lying in bed. The arrival of two women changes his life: Julia, a lawyer, and Rosa, a neighbour in the village. Ramón’s bright personality captivates both of them and will make them question the principles which govern their lives. Only the person who truly loves him will help him to make his last journey.
Director’s Bio: Alejandro Amenábar is a Spanish-Chilean film director, screenwriter and composer. He has won eleven Goya Awards, two European Film Awards and one Oscar Award for Best Foreign Language Film for The Sea Inside among other honors. He is one of the most popular Spanish directors with the public and critics.
