EUNIC Ireland, Culture Ireland

EUNIC Ireland in partnership with Dublin City Libraries is launching its inaugural EUNIC European Film Club, a series of free screenings of European feature films and documentaries in six library branches across the city. A total of 24 screenings will take place from 2nd March to 12th June 2023, showcasing films from the following 11 EU countries; Bulgaria, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Poland, Portugal and Spain. 


Spain presents two films: Campeones, by Javier Fesser, and Mar adentro, by Alejandro Amenábar. 

Participating Libraries: Ballyfermot Library, Ballymun Library, Central Library Ilac Centre, Coolock Library, Terenure Library, Walkinstown Library. 

About EUNIC
EUNIC Ireland’s European Film Club is supported by the EUNIC organizations in Ireland. The purpose of EUNIC is to create a lasting partnership and network between the participating institutions in order to enhance and promote cultural diversity and understanding between European societies, as well as to strengthen international dialogue and cooperation with countries outside Europe. EUNIC Ireland network is composed of: Alliance Française/ French Embassy, Austrian Embassy, Bulgarian Embassy, Culture Ireland, Goethe-Institut Irland, Embassy of Greece, Instituto Cervantes/Spanish Agency for the International Cooperation and Development (AECID), Istituto Italiano di Cultura, Embassy of Poland, Embassy of Portugal/ Camões Instituto da Cooperação e da Língua Portugal, Embassy of Romania, Embassy of Estonia, Embassy of Malta, Embassy of Slovenia, Embassy of Luxembourg and British Council.
