Invasión

Invasión is the portrait of the collective memory of a country and its people in documentary form. Using first-hand accounts of people who experienced the event, the documentary looks back to 1989, when the United States invaded Panamá with the intention of removing General Noriega from power. The accounts given by those involved present the viewer with a varied range of experiences, characterized by differing perspectives and contradictions and clashes relating not just to ideology but to memory itself.
