The Spanish Essentials

Instituto Cervantes Dublin commences this year’s CineCafé with a cinema series which collects significant films of Spanish cinematography in its different dimensions. From author cinema that shows Spain from a variety of points of view to great films that not only have passed the test of time, but that need to be watched over and over again, as well as recent commercial and critical successes.
 
This series is a perfect introduction to Spanish cinema from the second half of the 20th century and the first two decades of the 21st century. Suitable for spectators with a curiosity about the seventh art and for those who would like to enjoy key works, some not as well-known as others, of our cinematography.
