Talking Translation: Irish Poetry in Spanish Clothes

Irish poet Mary O’Malley (A Consideration of Silk, Where the Rocks Float, The Knife in the Wave, Asylum Road) and Enrique Alda (I Could Read the Sky, Timothy O’Grady y Steve Pike) discuss why the translation of poetry is so challenging.

Enrique Alda has been a translator for the past 20 years. Only a few months ago he changed the Wicklow Mountains for the Moncayo, in Spain, to coordinate the Casa del Traductor (Tarazona, Spain).
