The staging of the play “Five Hours with Mario” in the eighties, starring Lola Herrera, gave the director Josefina Molina the opportunity to carry out an unprecedented experiment with a touch of documentary that reflected on the sentimental education of the Spanish postwar generation. The parallels and differences between the actress and the character she plays run in parallel to the meeting with her ex-husband with whom she has a long cathartic conversation that reveals the wounds and traumas.
