Spanish Culture Night

Spanish Culture Night Instituto Cervantes Dublin. Garp Studio

Join us for a a lively programme for all audiences and ages.

We’ll start with a family programme in our library where the little ones can practise their creativity with a Spanish touch, followed by a storytelling in Spanish and English in which they’ll discover new and surprising stories.

For teenagers and adults, we propose a series of challenges through an escape room game in groups. There are two sessions with different themes so you can reserve the one that interests you the most.

If you want to learn some basic flamenco dance moves in a relaxed and fun environment, join us for a class with our flamenco workshop instructor, Sandra Palomar. If you are interested in the world of theatre and acting and have a B1 level of Spanish or are a native Spanish speaker, we invite you to a tasting class with the director of the Cervantes Dublin Theatre Club, Sandra Villegas. And if you enjoy music and want to understand some of its basic concepts better, we encourage you to attend our sound talk-workshop aimed at audiences of all ages, conducted by the members of the group Locanda, who will bring their instruments: violin, guitar, bass, saxophone, cajón, cymbals, and shakers.

We will conclude this festive day with a concert by Locanda whose music is a Turkish and Spanish Mediterranean mix that blends rumba with Latin jazz and flamenco. Their optimistic lyrics and catchy melodies will invite you to dance and enjoy.
