Introduction to Music
This sound workshop/talk is aimed at an audience of all ages with an interest in music. The public will be able to better understand the basic concepts used in music and thus approach this wonderful world more precisely.
The members of the group Locanda will answer to questions such as what is sound? which are its characteristics? or what is music? Through practical examples the audience will see the difference between rhythm, melody, and harmony, and the types of instruments according to the source of vibration (wind, string, percussion, etc.)
After this introduction, the workshop will focus on the different parts of the instruments available in the classroom: violin, guitar, bass, saxophone, cajón, cymbals, shakers, and voice, to reinforce the concepts explained earlier.
