After many years of trying to make this film, the great Spanish filmmaker Vicente Aranda delves into the complicated territory of jealousy to narrate an agonizing and fatal story. This production brings together a good part of the director's obsessions with the limits of love and sexual desire, between which violence always mediates. 


Aitana Sánchez-Gijón displays in her portrayal of the main character a myriad of sophisticated nuances that contribute to developing a narrative arc full of surprises. 

Synopsis: Antonio and Carmen are happy and about to get married. On the eve of the wedding, Antonio finds an old photograph of his future wife with another man. From that moment on, jealousy assails Antonio and begins to transform his character and his behaviour. To save their relationship, Carmen must confront her murky past.
