The City Council of Huelva (Spain), the World Flamenco Congress and the Chicago Flamenco Festival are pleased to invite you travel to the south of Spain with the Instituto Cervantes’ presentation of the Huelva City Flamenco Festival on Thursday, March 31st. Enjoy a tantalizing preview of the Huelva Flamenco Festival with brief performances by Antonio Molina, el Choro, and Jesús Corbacho, in addition to the participation of the Huelva Councilors for Tourism and Culture. Following the performances delicious tapas from the south of Spain will be offered. The Huelva Flamenco Festival will be held from June 14th to 25th in Huelva. We hope that after this exciting presentation, you will be enticed to pack your bags and fly to Huelva in June for the complete event!
The Chicago Flamenco Festival will continue with its impressive program on April 1st and 2nd with a performance by Antonio Molina, el Choro, and Jesús Corbacho, followed by Antonio Lizana and Eduardo Guerrero on April 19th and María Terremoto on April 26th.

Flamenco is an artistic expression fusing song (cante), dance (baile) and musicianship (toque) that arose from a multicultural environment in which gypsies, Jews, Arabs and Christians mixed elements of their respective cultures.
