The international jury, made up of renowned creators, playwrights, scholars, and advocates of Hispanic theater—Egla Hassan, Sonia Chocrón, Indira Páez, Belén Galain, Neher Jacqueline Briceño, and Rebeca Alemán—has selected the award-winning works for the quality and innovation of their dramatic proposals linked to human rights. These works elevate and expand the presence of women’s narratives, highlighting the commitment of women's theater to the challenges of our time.
Synopsis: It presents the survivors of an imaginary town that has lost everything after a violent attack. In a desperate act not only to survive, but to honor their dead and preserve their legacy, the inhabitants of this town on the brink of extinction cling to everyday life, to their love for their trades, their traditions, and life itself.
