Narradoras. Contemporary short films
Tania Porras y Lola MonteroThe production of short films has always been a source of creativity and inspiration for Spanish filmmakers who find in this format a place to tell stories and present characters that rarely can be seen in feature film or television fiction formats. From the Aguilar Film Festival, a festival of reference in Castilian lands (Spain), we present a cycle dedicated to the production of Spanish women filmmakers who have recently jumped to feature films or who have burst onto the short film scene with enormous strength and force. There are eight short fiction films that cover a map of protagonists, many of them female, that affirm the new agenda of women, in which empowerment and the reformulation of social and personal conflicts speak of a new world.
