Llamada a la escuela

Carme Nogueira is a multidisciplinary artist, researcher and teacher, with an extensive background in both the creative and academic fields, who, for Called to the school, recovers school archives and testimonies of the children who attended the public school of Las Hurdes in the early 30s and interrelates them with a passage from Luis Buñuel's documentary Las Hurdes: tierra sin pan; (1933), as well as with drawings of the children of a school in the present day, generating with all this an audiovisual proposal of great strength and sensitivity.
