Inside the Microtubule
Judith AdatabernaJudith Adataberna, a Galician visual artist specializing in photography, video installation and experimental film, explores the mechanisms of our memory through the memories - increasingly fragile - of her 99-year-old grandmother and different audiovisual images. The thin and trembling beam of light from a flashlight projected in the middle of a snowstorm on a mountain, crossed by thousands of flakes that are illuminated for a fraction of a second, or the journey through images of neurons and synapses that are the physical basis of our memories are some of the representations with which Adataberna plays in his audiovisual proposal.
