Emmy Tither

Instituto Cervantes of Albuquerque, as part of its Oralidad festival, organizes this workshop by educator Emmy Tither (LAII's K-12 Educational Program Coordinator) in collaboration with University of New Mexico. This free workshop is designed for K12 educators. About Emmy Tither Emmy Tither is an educator and researcher raised in Lima, Peru and Washington, DC. She is LAII's K-12 Educational Program Coordinator, from which she works to provide resources, programming and support to educators in New Mexico and beyond. She has worked in the education, non-profit and start-up sectors on four continents - including as a high school social studies teacher in Albuquerque - and has been an Urban Leaders Fellow. She received a BSc in Social Sciences with Anthropology from Birkbeck, University of London, and an MA in Documentary Arts from the University of Cape Town.
