9th Albuquerque Latinx Film Festival ¡Cine Magnifico!
The Instituto Cervantes of Albuquerque is launching the ninth edition of Cine Magnífico, Albuquerque Latino Film Festival on October 16 and from October 22 to 24. An event that in its eight previous editions has been committed to the dissemination of culture and audiovisual creation in Spanish and has given visibility over the years in New Mexico to numerous quality films and short films made in Spain and several Spanish-speaking countries. The 2021 edition of the showcase will have as its main venue the Guild Cinema in Albuquerque as well as a small online version and will include more than twenty feature and short films from countries such as Peru, Spain, Mexico, Argentina, United States, Chile, Colombia, El Salvador and Guatemala. Cine Magnifico will also feature a special film session for children at the National Hispanic Cultural Center, panel discussions, online conferences through the Instituto Cervantes YouTube Channel and will focus this year on Albuquerque's growing and prominent film industry.
