Manuel Vázquez Montalbán and The South Seas

After 80 years of his birth, we remember Manuel Vázquez Montalbán (1939-2003) reading his work The South Seas , possibly the most famous novel with detective Pepe Carvalho character and the one which awarded in 1979 with the Spanish literary prize "Premio Planeta de Novela".

The plot begins when an influential businessman, who was supposed to travel the South Seas for a whole year, appears murdered. His lawyer hires Pepe Carvalho to find out what the victim did during the whole year that never came to pass in Polynesia. But the murderer is the least, it's about knowing what business he was involved with.
