A day full of emotions

Gabriela Mistral and Lane Cove libraries offers this activity as part of the promotion of the new section of materials in Spanish at the Lane Cove Library thanks to the Itinerant Library Project of the Instituto Cervantes in Sydney.

We invite the little ones to know their emotions thanks to the Colorful Monster (Anna Llenas). Our protagonist is a monster who has made a mess of his emotions, feels weird and confused, and does not know how to put them in order.

In this intergenerational activity children will participate together with their parents and/or grandparents. After reading this book about joy, sadness, anger, fear and calm enjoy the activities with colors, numbers, games and lots of fun. Finally, the sesion will be complemented by the presentation of several children's books within this new section for adults to read to the little ones.
