Strike a Chord Instituto Cervantes Sídney

The Instituto Cervantes of Sydney collaborates with Compañía Pepa Molina in the world premiere of Strike a Chord, the company's tenth flamenco production. This bold new work by internationally acclaimed choreographer and director Pepa Molina amplifies the relationship between flamenco guitar and dance, bringing together celebrated guitarist Marco Van Doornam and Las Flamenkas — a dynamic ensemble of six emerging culturally diverse artists aged 17 to 30. 


Blending tradition with experimentation, Strike a Chord pulses with rhythm, identity and innovation, offering audiences an intimate yet electrifying insight into the evolving form of contemporary flamenco. 

The show will be presented at Eternity Playhouse Theatre, Darlinghurst, as part of Sydney Fringe Festival 2026, with support from Create NSW and co-produced by Form Dance Projects.
