Peru, 1990s. The country's political situation is very turbulent, with the military controlling the streets. Two teenage sisters are about to leave the country forever when they are unexpectedly reunited with their absent father. To leave Peru, their mother needs his permission. The reunion will both amplify and ease their grief over the impending change.
