Power in Balance: Hispanic Women Shaping the Future

As part of the International Women’s Day 2026 program, Instituto Cervantes Melbourne, in collaboration with RMIT University and with the support of the Spanish and Latin American embassies in Australia, presents the roundtable discussion “Power in Balance: Hispanic Women Shaping the Future.” This event brings together a diverse group of migrant professional women who will share their personal and professional journeys, as well as their contributions to Australian society across fields such as culture, knowledge, and innovation.

The activity creates a space for dialogue and reflection on women’s leadership, multicultural identity, and the value of dual cultural belonging in contemporary society. Inspired by the 2026 international theme, “Balance the Scale,” the roundtable aims to highlight female role models, encourage intergenerational conversation, and promote a more inclusive, equitable, and diverse community.
