Paella: history and tasting David León

This activity requires prior reservation and confirmation. This activity is organised thanks to the Embassy of Spain in Australia and is part of the series of events offered by the Instituto Cervantes Sydney to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Institution in Australia. This event is also proudly sponsored by Estrella Damm.

On this occasion the Spanish chef David León, chef of the Alegrías restaurant in Sydney, is in charge of explaining to our audience the history of paella, explaining its origins and how Valencian paella is distinguished from other varieties of paella. Before the end of the event we will offer a small tasting of a variety of paella offered especially for this occasion to the delight of the attendees. Our auditorium has a limited capacity.
