The Cervantes Institute of Sydney, within the framework of the 10th anniversary of the institution in Australia, offers for the first time in the country, a short film show of the Huesca International Film Festival. The Huesca International Film Festival, which has been held in this city since 1973, is one of the oldest in Spain in the world of short films, being a qualifying festival for the Goya awards of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences of Spain , as well as for the Academy Awards of The Academy of Hollywood. The contest, whose main venue is the Olimpia Theater, consists of three official sections for the competition dedicated to Latin American, international and documentary short films and is completed with numerous activities, meetings, shows, feature film cycles, tribute prizes ... What they are going to see in this program is the winners of the festival, the Ibero-American short film competition and a documentary sample in each session, corresponding to the 45 and 46 edition, of 2016 and 2017 respectively.
