Literature in Spanish: launch of Cráteres artificiales, by Rosario Lázaro Igoa
Instituto Cervantes in Sydney, as the oficial institution for the Spanish Language and Culture for all Spanish speaking countries, works alongside the Consulate of Uruguay in Sydney to promote Uruguayan author Rosario Lázaro Igoa. She will talk about her book Cráteres artificiales (Criatura Editora, 2021) with translator, professor and poet Chris Andrews at the Instituto Cervantes auditorium. At the end of the event, a bilingual chapbook with the translation of the first story of the book will be distributed for free. Entitled ‘One More Death’, the story was translated into English by Annie McDermott thanks to the support of the IDA Program of Uruguay.
