Literature in Spanish: "Migration: Identity and Memory" by Susana Enríquez , Ph.D. Instituto Cervantes Sídney

Instituto Cervantes in Sydney, as the oficial institution for Spanish Language and Culture for all Spanish speaking countries, works alongside the Consulate of Peru in Sydney and the Australian Network of Hispanic Women to promote Mexican author Dr. Susana Enríquez.

She will talk about her book "Migración: Identidad y Memoria" and she will share eight narratives and portraits of Latin-American inspiring women who settled in Sydney as they sought fresh opportunities narrated by their protagonists. This bi-lingual edition of "Migration: Identity and Memory" weaves together yarns of who these women have become with their memories focused on objects they carried with them.

Join us to hear from Susana and eight of the women in these migration 'portraits'.
