Mother Tongue

The film tells the story of Ruth, a woman who for a long time maintained a relationship with a politician (candidate for Congress). However, to his mother, Estela, they always have been "friends." Until one day the mother discovers that her daughter, already passed the age of 40, is a lesbian. After the initial shock, she makes a huge effort to understand the situation and learns what is homosexuality. The problem is that Estela, in her attempt to "accept" Ruth being a lesbian - begins to interfere in her life, at home and even in the emotional relationship with her partner.
