Homage to Gabriela Mistral

On the occasion of the birth of the Chilean poet Gabriela Mistral, a classical guitar concert will be offered in the Library which bears the same name as the Chilean writer, at the Instituto Cervantes of Sydney. This concert will be conducted by the Chilean musician and composer Víctor Martinez, who will present these musical pieces for the first time in Australia. In another outstanding activity, two poems by Mistral have been translated into the aboriginal language of the Gadigal people and will be read by their own representatives that day.
