Strawberry and Chocolate.

Film based on the short story El lobo, el bosque y el hombre nuevo by Cuban writer Senel Paz, who also wrote the screenplay. Diego, a cultured, skeptical and homosexual young man, falls in love with a young heterosexual communist full of prejudices. First comes rejection and suspicion, but also fascination. Strawberry and Chocolate is a coming-of-age story told through the development of a great friendship that overcomes incomprehension and intolerance. The film is a timely and sensitive opening to the complex world of interpersonal relationships, prejudice and the need for communication. It is also an ode to the most important human values, respect, non-discrimination, justice. Come to watch it!
