Sabores Festival
Celebrate
the flavors of Spain with us!
For second
year in a row, The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Australia (La Camara) gives
the opportunity to enjoy Spain ... without leaving Australia! After the success
of last year, with more than 700 attendees, The Chamber presents a vibrant new
festival for the whole family. Also, it's free!
Housed in a
colorful and unique location in the heart of Surry Hills, the Festival will
bring together some of the best products available in the Australian market.
Join us and enjoy an unforgettable day full of emblematic dishes, including
paella, tapas, fideuà or Serrano ham. And all accompanied by a course of
delicious wines, beers and refreshing sangria!
This
edition of 'Sabores' will also include a demonstration by the renowned chef
David Sorroche, who participates as a special guest of the Instituto Cervantes
de Sídney. Originally from Almería (Andalusia), David has come to cook for
prestigious artists such as David Bowie or Robbie Williams, always with the
roots of Spanish, Andalusian and Almeria cuisine. In addition to providing
delicious delicacies, the event will feature dancers from the Sydney-based
dance school 'Pepa Molina Flamenco', official ambassador of the Andalusian
Flamenco School in Australia. And young children will also have their great
moment at the Festival: a contest of regional costumes for children under ten
years old.
We are
waiting for you!
