In Spanish with Lorenzo Silva: detectives, truth and justice
In May, we read Madrid-born writer Lorenzo Silva, one of the most internationally recognised contemporary Spanish authors. Best known for his crime fiction series featuring Civil Guard officers Bevilacqua and Chamorro, he has written across multiple genres, from detective fiction to non-fiction and children's literature. This session is part of Benengeli 2026, the Instituto Cervantes literary festival that travels across five continents to bring Spanish-language literature to the world.
