The astronaut
[desconocido]The space fever that was experienced at the end of the sixties of the last century gave rise to this crazy comedy in which a group of Spaniards prepare to emulate the North American moon landing. The parody forces us to laugh at many of the characteristics that, for better and for worse, have identified Spanish popular culture through this crazy enterprise that, despite everything, is not completely unsuccessful. The photographic work of Juan Mariné was already conceived as the best tool to make the iconography of the race to the stars credible. Synopsis: In a town in the south of Spain, a group of friends awaits the arrival of man on the moon, broadcast on the bar's television. One of the parishioners warns his friends that this feat is nothing exceptional. Convinced that they can start the Spanish space race, they are preparing to install a base on nearby land and build the first space prototype.
