Uruguay Tango Day

The Instituto Cervantes in Sydney collaborates with the Consulate of Uruguay in Sydney to celebrate the Uruguay Tango Day by screening the documentary Cambalache.
Baile and Bandoneón will be the two chapters to be screened in this special documentary by Rosalía Alonso that explores the Uruguay tango scene looking for the imprint of the generations that are transforming their music, their poetry and their dance.
Two tango professionals will perform a live demonstration of the Uruguay tango at the end of the screenings and the Consulate of Uruguay will provide a wine tasting.
