Cryptography: Guess the Hidden Message
Throughout history, people have used keys and secret codes to conceal the content of messages—either because of their importance or the consequences of their being read by others. While creating an encryption key can be relatively simple, the real challenge lies in deciphering an encoded text, especially when the encryption key is unknown. In this workshop, we invite you to become a secret agent, learning techniques for coding and hiding messages. Through this experience, you’ll tap into the full potential of cryptography. Do you dare to create your Greek scytale? This time, we are pleased to welcome the students from St Ursula’s College. The library team leads the activity.
