On April 16, 2016, Ecuador suffers one of the most devastating catastrophes in its history: an earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale shakes the Ecuadorian coast. Independiente del Valle, a young soccer team from the Sangolquí Valley, invents a new face for soccer by donating the ticket office for the Copa Libertadores. His solidarity gesture seeks to rebuild something from the ruins, uniting the country in a fraternal embrace. Sport, for a moment, is seized by a spirit that brings it closer to the sphere of pure play.
