BiblioComic: graphic novels, comics and strips Instituto Cervantes (Sídney)

We celebrate March 17, Comic Book Day, with an exhibition of graphic novels, comics and strips in Spanish. Visitors will not only look at, pick up and browse these materials, we hope that also they will borrow them to read, enjoy and then tell us their impressions.

The Gabriela Mistral library presents in this point of interest more than eighty works. It include many Spanish National Comic Award books: Arrugas, by Paco Roca; Las serpientes ciegas by Felipe Hernández Cava and Bartolomé Seguí; El arte de volar, by Antonio Altarriba and Kim; Plaza Elíptica, by Santiago Valenzuela; Dublinés, by Alfonso Zapico; Ardalén, by Miguelanxo Prado; Las Meninas, by Javier Olivares and Santiago García; El Paraiso perdido by Pablo Auladell; Lamia, by Rayco Pulido; Estamos todas bien, by Ana Penyas; El día 3, by Cristina Durán, Miguel Ángel Giner Bou and Laura Ballester; La divina comedia de Oscar Wilde, by Javier de Isusi. In 2022 it was awarded to El Pacto Award, by Paco Sordo.
