Benidorm 2017

Benidorm is one of those places that respond to an image with a tight meaning: that place where thousands of people come, in the warm seasons, to forget about their daily lives and to enjoy all the diversions that this international megalopolis offers. However, imagining its streets and its empty spaces before the arrival of a tsunami allows director Claudia Costafreda to elaborate a story of meeting between two people who have to recount their past. Somehow, the winter solitude of that space makes the possibility of opening their hearts rhyme with the emptiness of an always thought place crowded with people.
