Alma

Alma, a short film by Colombian director Santiago León Cuéllar, is a story full of humanity that stands out for its ability to make us put ourselves in the shoes of its protagonist, in that exercise of empathy that good cinema always achieves. With an intelligent and delicate approach, it is an initiation story that addresses the conflicts that a young woman faces who has to go through an arduous personal process to identify with the image that the mirror returns to her. Synopsis: Alma has just entered a new high school and her classmate, Victor, invites her to a party. The transition of her body and her hidden desires lead Alma to face her internal fears and thus take the first step to love herself as she is.
