The Instituto Cervantes of Sydney collaborates with the Dante Alighieri Society of Sydney, the Istituto Italiano di Cultura in Sydney and GIA (Giovanni Italiani in Australia) to carry out a tribute to Raffaella Carrà. The Italian pop sensation Raffaella Carrà, known colloquially as “Raffa”, was an intergenerational and transnational phenomenon, destined to be remembered forever. In this event, Paolo Barela y y Profesora Antonella Beconi, will talk, debate and explore the multifaceted aspects of her legacy, her success from a feminist perspective, with the LGTBI+ community, her relationship with the media, her impact on music and her success in Italy, Spain and Latin American countries.
