34th Symposium on Children's and Young Adult Literature

On Friday, May 30, 2025, the Cervantes Institute in New York City will host the 34th Symposium on Children's and Young Adult Literature. The Symposium aims to contribute to the professional development of teachers in New York City and features specialists in children's and young adult literature, artists' books and teacher training. This year our guest speaker is the writer Monica Rodriguez, winner of the National Award for Children's and Young Adult Literature 2024 with the book “Umiko” (Diego Pun Ediciones), who will give a talk and workshop. In addition, Victoria Hunt, Alcira Jaar and Lola Gómez López will give other workshops.
