VII Historical Links Congress between Spain and North America: Migratory Movements

The 7th International Congress on Historical Links between Spain and North America will deal with migratory movements both in the transatlantic and Pan-American spheres, as well as the legal drift regarding the respect or breach of human rights that these movements of people have provoked in the long of the time. What and how have been and are the population movements between borders in the North Atlantic and North America and if these movements have been marked by or absent from the protection of human rights both in the past and the present will be the main points of the meeting annual. The Franklin Institute of the University of Alcalá, the Division of Interdisciplinary Studies of the City College of New York and the Cervantes Institute of New York, join for the seventh year in the organization of this congress through this request for proposals in different disciplines and areas of study with a special emphasis on interdisciplinary approaches to the historical links between Spain and North America.
