Thirty Years of Latin American Women and Gender Literary Politics
In 1987 the conference titled Latin American Writing took place in Chile.Years later Marcelo Coddou highlighted the importance of this event in his publication Escribir en los bordes (1990). Now, once again, a group of Latin American women writers will convene in New York City to pay homage to the original conference and keep questioning the important issues it raised. They will also let us hear some of their new works, produced in Latin America or The United States, letting us into the different experiences of writing from different geographies.
