With the soul of a late tango, in this film the songs and the evocation of the world revolve around the music that dominated leisure in the early twentieth century. It also responds to one of the hallmarks of director Jaime Chávarri, best known for his series Las cosas del querer, with which this film is in direct dialogue. The counterpoint to the protagonist singer is developed by a young woman played by Aitana Sánchez-Gijón, whose gaze constructs and manipulates the limits of the survival of the quintessential Argentine music and its myths. Synopsis: In Buenos Aires, in the 1930's, a Spanish immigrant meets a tango singer, considered the best Gardel imitator.
