After four decades of continuous progress, Ribera del Duero and its powerful tannic wines deservedly achieved world-class status. But Ribera del Duero is a geographically long and diverse region with different soils, elevations and climates. In the last few years some of its most ambitious winemakers are making wines that reflect the personality of different subregions and privileged vineyards.
