In 2026, Instituto Cervantes New York launches Amster Yard Sounds. Classical, a new chamber‑music series showcasing exceptional young and talented performers. Curated by soprano Elizaveta Kozlova, the series explores early repertoires that traveled between Spain and the Americas, brought to life in the intimate setting of Amster Yard. All concerts are free, with a complimentary glass of wine offered afterward to meet the musicians and fellow music lovers. The season opens with Iberian Strings and Keys, a journey across three centuries of Spanish Renaissance and Baroque music. From refined courtly songs to virtuosic instrumental variations, the program reveals the expressive richness of Iberian musical traditions shaped under generations of Spanish monarchs.
