Life and Its Characters
The “Life and Its Characters” program at Corto Circuito ShortFest, on Friday, November 7, offers an intimate and diverse exploration of the human condition through six short films from Spain, Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, and France. In collaboration with the Instituto Cervantes of New York, this session brings together stories that reflect on desire, loss, transformation, and resilience—from the abolition of bullfighting to the insomnia caused by a lost love, artistic thefts, personal decisions, and family bonds marked by violence. A cinematic experience that celebrates the complexity of characters and the emotions that define them.
