During Spain’s Noche de San Juan festival, 14-year-old Jessica and her younger sister Alma head to collect food stamps. Scarred by years of their father’s violence, Jessica has grown harsh and self-destructive, often lashing out at Alma. But on this journey, she realizes she must break the cycle and choose love over violence.
