Laura

Laura is a 75-year-old woman who has important physical and visual disabilities. She studied art at Hunter College, and was behind the scenes building strechers/frames for renowned artists of the 60s and 70s such as Adolph Gottlieb and Mark Rothko. She was a silent protagonist of the cultural changes of the art scene in New York City. Now, at her 75 years and the issues that this implies, loneliness and the challenges of living in a contemporary society, makes this film a story of survival, strength and abandonment.
