The Success Stories of Latin Americans in New York City

The Success Stories of Latin Americans in New York City desconocido

SOLD OUT!

Boris Izaguirre, journalist, writer and public persona along with Gabriel Rivera, founder and president of the public relations agency GRB Communications, join us to discuss the identity of successful Hispanic entrepreneurs in NYC. This talk is dedicated to the stories of some of the most influential Latin Americans who moved to New York City in pursuit of ambitious dreams. Among the portraits they present us are important figures in fashion, the arts, philanthropy and many other fields: Carolina Herrera, Narciso Rodriguez, Nina Garcia, José Parla, to name a few. We will discover how these individuals came to be who they are today and understand how this city has been a muse and a cornerstone to their success. These individuals are examples of how one can integrate into an extraordinary city without ever forgetting where you come from or where you are going.
